Happy weekend everyone! Check out Chantelle & Jeremy who will be married in almost one month… I can’t wait! With Weddings and Engagements in full force, I thought I would post some simple rules to follow for your upcoming engagement session, anytime session, wedding and your everyday life:) It’s common to be nervous for your first engagement shoot and of course your wedding… its a big day! We easily get caught up in all the silly things around us and we forget to stop and look at the big picture. It happens to all of us and I guess that is what hugs and kisses are for, lol! About 10 seconds into my engagement sessions, my clients are having a blast! I love it! Here are some rules I live by and you will never go wrong.
Rule #1: Always be yourself (This one is from the awesome Coralee from Red Photo Co)
Rule #2: Always be in to each other (I say that a lot during a session, lol)
Rule #3: Always have fun!
This is pretty much how I start every session off including weddings and it never fails:) If you would like a demonstration, just take it from Chantelle & Jeremy. Thanks and have a great weekend!!!

Hey Everyone… lovin’ this spring weather!!! The furnace is off and the windows were open last night… what a long haul that winter was!!! Last week I traveled up to Buffalo Point with Brittani & Jessica for some wedding location scouting. Brittani and Cael will be my first wedding in May and I can’t wait! Here are some pics of Brittani & Jessica having some fun before we headed out. Also, just for kicks I took pulled a bunch of photos from my computer to make a kick ass music video:) I am very pumped up and so looking forward to the future! Enjoy!

To all Bride’s and Groom’s of 2009 and beyond.. it’s gonna be an awesome month meeting new clients and planing for 2009. I thought it was important to leave you with a small intro and some info to make things easier for anyone new stopping by. I can’t wait to hear about your wedding!
“I have been a witness, and these pictures are my testimony.”
James Nachtwey, photographer
For most of my life I was holding back from doing what I really wanted. A ten year run in corporate management lent some good lessons but it truly wasn’t what I wanted to do or be. I wasn’t sure what that was… but I wanted to do great things… remarkable things for extraordinary people. Photography is what allows me to do and be what I have always dreamed!
So in 2007 I took a giant leap towards freedom… freedom to do what I love and love what I do. The day of a wedding is the most exciting and important day on earth… for any family. It is an honor and a privilege to document and capture that day for family to cherish forever. My name is Curtis Moore and I am a lifestyle wedding photographer here in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
