What a big day for Winnipeg, Manitoba and Canada yesterday… the announcement of the Atlanta Thrashers moving to Winnipeg!  I didn’t live here back when we lost the Jets but I completely understand how this city feels about the team.  I was sad to leave the NHL city of Calgary a few years ago, so I’m pumped to be back in the big leagues again:)  I know that they probably will not be called the Jet’s, but I am just as happy to have a team in the city!  The four of us headed down to the forks for the announcement yesterday… what an experience and what a buzz!  To be honest, Bethany and Lucas were not as excited during the party but Amanda and I took it in and had a great time.  Can’t wait for game one… Go Jets Go!

Happy belated Easter everyone!  I almost forgot to share some fun pics of the easter egg hunt with the little ones on Easter morning.  Wow do these guys rock… such a gift to have in my life!  How was your kids easter morning???  Ours was full of sugar, LOL!  Enjoy!

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole & Adam’s wedding in Mexico… I also wanted to add some adventure so we decided to make it a family trip:)  The wife, the kids, Mom & Dad and even my sister… what an adventure it was!  First of all… it was (an still is) freezing cold with a couple feet of snow here in Winnipeg, so it was great to start the winter off right.  Secondly, it has been a while since we had this much family together in one place for a week!  What an adventure it was, LOL!  Apart from a stroller tire exploding at the airport and Bethany’s late night trip to a Mexico Hospital… it was a trip of a lifetime!  Enjoy:)
