I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies. However, I am very interested in branching into photography. Due to the fact I have lots of student loans I have yet to be able to buy the best equipment for the job. I would love to be able to afford a Canon 5d or Nikon D700 in the near future. I did however buy a Pentax K200D a couple years ago to upgrade from my dinky point and shoot. I have grown super attached to it. I know, I know...no pros shoot Pentax. Unfortunately nobody told me that when I went to get my DSLR. If you are curious what I did with that DSLR you can check out my flickr site at - flickr.com/photos/tonyfriesen -. Not sure which of these two options I am applying for. I don't have the equipment for option number two, but don't necessarily have the money to settle for option number 1.
My only editing experience is increasing contrast and cropping pictures on free download software called Picasa.

What are your opinions. Perhaps you have filled both positions already. Regardless of whether you have filled these positions or not, I would love feedback on what you see.
