Last week I had the privilege of capturing an awesome event design from Events by Emma at the Fairmont Hotel here in Winnipeg. The theme was Fire and Ice… very cool!!! (and hot!!!) It was a very neat kitchen party for some of the staff at the hotel. Emma and her team rocks!!! I am so excited to have a couple weddings with her next year and probably more to come.. here is one couple you can look forward to in 2010… Melanie & Rowell. The theme for this time of year for details seems to be dark… how do you photograph that??? With some high ISO and no fear! Capture the light that is important to the theme of the event and the photos will tell a great story. A flash would have muted the rich blue and red colors so the plan was to go natural.
