I'm hoping to use the next few (five!) ccccold months to get my workflow more organized so I'm spending less time in postprocessing and get the pictures out the door to the client more quickly! ROBYN - your work is awesome, don't doubt yourself! I'm going to check out your blog for some inspiration (loving your baby sessions!). The biggest change to my business this year came after introducing the Showit Slideshows - everybody loves a slideshow. It paid for itself immediately! I'd suggest you try it and see - might help you give up the free shoots a little more quickly ;-) Good post, Curtis. I didnt know anyone thought the same way i did, well do everyday... I do suck, bad! But, everyday i try something new something different... But, i try is what is most important. I never wanted be like anyone eals, I do try to put my spin on my photography. But, still someone down the road has a better camera or more money to do it best, better than me... I lay in my bed at night thinking and thinking and still wake up with NOTHING more than i have already done. I bought a new lens 50mm 1.4 like the other photographers and i HATE it! ???? now what? Im sick of layers and free shoots i could puke! Im over cheap people and having to dress them or explain i d NOT shoot in front of flowers or anything that has to do with flowers... Yes I still wake up hoping to shoot something cool today, something that make me smile and excites me...? Thank you for your words and for being so open!
